2022 Think achieve Beyond the classroom faculty award
This award is reserved for a faculty member who teaches a class that is designated Beyond the Classroom. The award is designed to recognize faculty members who integrate active, hands-on learning into their teaching and promote critical thinking through innovative classroom and community-based experiences.
2015 Think Achieve FAculty Award
This award recognizes UTC faculty members who have been involved in ThinkAchieve activities and have demonstrated exemplary teaching that meets the goals of ThinkAchieve. A group of my peers collected evidence of how my teaching encourages critical thinking and experiential learning. They submitted my name as a nominee for the 2015 award and I was selected through a peer-reviewed process.
